Revenge of the NERD

I have to tell everyone about the new series I am reading. There are 4 books total, I am in the 3rd book and they are pretty good. (Keep in mind I am easily entertained) It is a series by Scott Westerfeld and the books are Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras. It is a teenage series so right at my reading level. Haha. But seriouly if you want a brainless fast read they are entertaining. If you read them let me know what you think. :)

Stadium of Fire!!!!

It's official. My dance girls once again got invited to perform in the dance number at the Stadium of Fire. SO FUN. I am so excited and so happy that I wanted to share this with everyone. Its such a fun experience for me but mostly for the girls. Denise (the lady I teach for) has worked so hard to get our studio recognized and appreciated. For those of you who aren't aware of what the Stadium of Fire is, its one of the biggest 4th of July celebrations in the United States, it is held at the Lavel Edwards Stadium in Provo and gets broadcast to the troops all around the world. They have had some fun performers in the past years including Miley Cyrus last year (my jr. dancers were going crazy when they found out about her coming), Taylor Hicks, Brooks and Dunn, and Leanne Womack. Its is a fun celebration for everyone. It is a lot of work but well worth it. We have dance practice the whole month on June and the day before and day of the performance we have all day practices in the stadium in some HOT conditions. But the dancers are troopers and happy to be there. I am SO thankful for the opportunity to teach these girls. I love them so much. To me, teaching them is so much more than just dance I get to see these girls grow in so many different ways. I am thankful for dance and the joy it brings into my life. There is nothing better for me than to show emotion through dance and to be able to feel that emotion watching dance. It is a big part of me and who I am. I am thankful to Eddie for his support and for letting me continue do something that I love even if it means sitting through a Miley Cyrus concert. I am so EXCITED for the Stadium of Fire and happy to be apart of it. I will get some pictures asap so you all can see the fun that goes into this crazy dance life of mine.

We're Back!

I told you I'm not very good at this blogging thing, I really do try. We are just super busy. Anyway... So its only been a couple of months since our last update and there really has only been one major thing I haven't told everyone about....the SUGAR BOWL and boy oh boy was it fun. New Orleans is a very different place than Salt Lake. Totally different life style and culture. It was super fun to experience it but I was happy to come home after a week. We were able to see a lot of stuff there.
Ok so along with the many beads you can get there its also very popular to get feathered masks. I am pretty sure I didn't feel half as stupid as my brothers did wearing this so I thought I would pass it on so everyone could get a good laugh.
FANS FEST!! Wouldn't I be a great football player???

Eddie got the football all the way to the end.

Me with Brian Johnson, Freddy Brown, and Paul Kruger
Sugar Bowl Chapions!!! 2nd ranked college football team. It was so much fun to be there and experience that amazing game and the whole undefeated season. Go Utes!

The cemeteries in New Orleans are CREEPY. Everyone gets buried in tombs and they are all old and broken and scary.

Elli and Izzy my cute little nieces.

It was such a fun trip. I am happy that I got the opportunity to go and I am glad I had my whole family with me. I wouldn't have wanted to go with anyone else.

Off We Go!!!!

Have I said that I have the best husband EVER??? Well I do. Let me start from the beginning. Last Thursday was Eddie's birthday. 27!!!!! Wow. We are getting old. That night after I got home from dance he had our luggage out and a note waiting for me which said...

" Pick a bag, it's not a gag
Babe don't worry we'll be back in a hurry,
So get up lets go, we're off to San Diego!
I have saved all the money cause I love you honey,
And you deserve a break for goodness sake!"

How cute is that? I was so suprised and SO EXCITED!!!! Our plane left friday at 10:30am.

I took this picture after we SAFELY landed in San Diego... I hate flying its so scary.

We stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel which was right on Mission Bay. It was so pretty.

On Saturday we hung out at the beach all day. Did i mention it was 85 DEGREES!!!! We rented some bikes and road about 7 miles up and down the boardwalk. The first 5 minutes was probably hilarious to watch me try and get a hang of how to ride a bike again. I was struggling. We walk through all the stores and of course played on the beach and in the ocean.

The trip wouldn't be complete without going to a Utah game.
11-0 baby. Go Utes!!!

My cute little niece Izzy in her cheerleading outfit. The outfit is cute for now but she is going to be a little dancer if I have anything to do with it.

So after we took this picture I pretty much got soaked by an unexpected wave....sneeky buggers. I am pretty sure Eddie saw it coming and chose not to warn me because he couldn't stop laughing at me.

It was so so SO much fun. I am such a lucky girl. I love you babe thanks so much.

Happy Halloween!!!!

OH MY.... I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!! It's for sure my favortie holiday, thanks to my Dad. So here are some SPOOKY things we have been up to.
I was so lucky to get to go to Thriller!!! Wow, it was AMAZING!!! Two of my most favorite things....Halloween and Dance together, I was like a kid in a candy shop. I am so happy I got to go.

This is Stacee. She use to be one of my dance soloist when she was in high school (Wow, that makes me feel old) we ran into eachother at Thriller. It was fun to see her. I love to teach dance and see these little girls grow up.

Time to PUMPKIN HUNT!!!

This reminds me of Cinderella's Carriage. Awe how cute?!

Pumpkin Carving!!!

Eddie carved some creepy kids in his pumpkin.

I carved a Scarecrow. P.S. Mine is WAY better. And that pumpkin isn't as heavy as I make look in this picture...or maybe it is. Hehe.

We went to The Haunted Village with Alex and Mckel. I pretty much screamed like a little girl through the whole thing. But it was super fun every scream of the the way. Ha ha.

I hope you all have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I am really trying to get this updated as much as possible. Sorry I'm not an everyday blogger...I am more like a twice a monther. I just learned how to change the background which took about 2 hours to really get a hang of it. I am now planning to get some music for you listening entertainment but we'll see how long it takes me to figure it out. Thanks Kate for helping me and making fun of me at the same time. Loveya.

FINALLY an update!!!!

I really am going to try and get better at this....no promises. But here is the latest. So last update we were on our way to Utah State for the Utah football game. It was tons of fun and they won. YAY!!! They are doing really good this year and so far are undefeated! Last game we played Oregon State and OH MAN that was the FUNNEST game I have been to in a long long time. The Utes came back to win it the last 2 minutes of the game. It was so awesome! The games have been so much fun to go to. Eddie is especially loving it because he has been at every game this year and is heading up to Wyoming this weekend.

Here is CUTE little Elli getting a kiss from her FAVORITE aunt...aka...ME!!!

Our CUTE nephew Terron had his 5th birthday on September 13th. He was so excited. Of course Uncle Eddie had to give him his first NERF gun even though the box said 7 years+ on it... but trust me he had no problems learning to point and shot and he is a pretty good shot. It was fun to get to spend some time with Eddie's family. I am so thankful to have loving in-laws that care about us.

I just want to say how much I love Eddie. He is truly my best friend. We are going to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary on the 27th and they have been the most rewarding 3 years of my life. I really do believe things work out the way they are suppose to and that I am SOOO blessed. Not to mention he puts up with ALL of me. That is quite a task in itself. I can't wait until we are celebrating our 50th and hopefully a couple after that. I love you babe!!!

Go Utes!

I haven't been very good at keeping this updated. Sorry. But here are some pictures of what we have been up to. Everything is going great. We are super busy as usual but having so much fun along the way.

Saturday was our first home game of the season. It was so much fun. Utah beat UNLV 42 to 21. We head to Utah State this weekend, hopefully they will keep it up. Go Utes.

Me and my three brothers. I love them all to death!

My Mom and Dad. Thanks for the awesome tradition!

This is our dog, Tank. He is almost 3 years old. Eddie surprised me with him for Christmas 2 years ago. He is so much fun and spoiled rotten.

Eddie was so lucky and got to go to the Utah vs. Michigan game a couple of weeks ago with my brothers. While they were there they also got to go to a Brown's NFL game and a baseball game.

My cute husband.

These are my cute nieces. Oh my gosh i love them SOOOO much. Izzy (above) is Ryan and Caryn's little girl. She is 4 months old and has the CUTEST smile ever. Elli (below) is Andy and Kalli's little girl. She is just over a year old and she has the cutest little personality. It is so so so much fun to have little nieces. I love it.

I hope all is going well for all of you. Thanks for sharing a little piece of our life.
